I am out of college now and after a pretty long search I have found a fairly good job. It is not the job that I would have dreamt and wished for, but it is pretty good when you compare it to working in the kitchen of the pizza place I had been cooking in. At the moment I am trying to find the apartments for rent in Shawnee KS for my situation. Of course I am not really in a position to spend a great sum of money on it and the big problem is that I do not have anyone I know who would make a good roommate. All of my friends are back in Manhatten KS right now and that is not going to do me any good. Continue reading
Deciding upon regencyatlookoutcanyon.com after stumbling over it during an online research lesson, it made total sense we ended up living here. We almost didn’t, actually, because I was a bit stubborn. My new wife had to work to convince me that we really needed our own place and that we could easily afford to live in a nice part of San Antonio. My major worry was my student loans, which I thought were too big to allow us to afford to live in a comfortable area. My wife, a math major, crunched the numbers and figured out that we could easily swing it.
I think it was a bit more than that for her, though. We were living in my parents’ basement and she hated every minute of it. I can’t say I blame her. My parents are nice enough, but it’s very much a their rules or the highway type of situation. Plus we were paying them a lot of money in rent. I don’t mind paying my own way, but we needed a place where it was our rules for our rent money. She was the one who took the initiative and made it a reality.
When we found our future home online, I thought it was too good to be true. Surely we couldn’t afford the rent in the swanky part of town. Lots of rich people live up there and I thought no way are they going to allow some lower wage people into the area. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Not only is the rent more than affordable, the amenities you get are jaw dropping for the price. Even as we were moving our stuff into our new apartment, I still didn’t believe it was real. I expected someone to walk in and tell us to leave!
